Mariusz Prudel

Mariusz Prudel ( born January 21, 1986 in Rybnik ) is a Polish volleyball player.

Career

Prudel completed his first Open tournaments in the years 2005-2007 with various partners. Among them were three performances in Stare Jabłonki. He also finished fifth at the Junior World Cup 2006 in Mysłowice.

2008 Prudel formed a new duo with his current partner Grzegorz Fijalek. At the European Championships in Hamburg Fijalek / Prudel failed just before the semi-finals respectively in the tiebreak of the Dutch Nummerdor / Schuil and the Russians Barsuk / Kolodinski. 2009 in Sochi they were group winners before two the teams and defeated in the quarter-finals again Nummerdor / Schuil which subsequently won the final. The 2010 European Championships in Berlin ended for Poland in the second round against the Spaniards Lario / Mesa. 2011 in Rome for the first time they took part in a World Cup, and came straight to the quarter-finals, which they lost to the German duo Brink / Recker man. In the same year Mariusz Prudel as Most Improved Player of the FIVB World Tour was excellent. At the Olympic Summer Games 2012 in London, they were fifth. At the 2013 World Championships in Stare Jabłonki Fijalek / Prudel reached as group winners the main round, where they did against Brazil Pedro / Bruno.
