Mark Arm

Mark Arm, bourgeois Mark McLaughlin ( born February 21, 1962 in Seattle ) is the lead singer and guitarist of the grunge band Mudhoney.

Musical Career

The first band called the Mark arm to life, said Mr. Epp (initial and Mr. Epp and the calculations ), in which he sang with frequently changing cast and played guitar. At the same time he occupied at the garage band The Limp Richerds the post of drummer. There he also met Steve Turner, who later got in on Mr. Epp. 1984, decided he and Steve Turner, the band Green River to launch. The two hired yet to Jeff Ament from the band Deranged Diction for the bass and Alex Vincent from Steve Turner's second volume Spluii Numa for the drums. Green River, 1985, reinforced by guitarist Stone Gossard, soon grew zoom alongside Soundgarden to scene sizes.

The end of 1985 Steve Turner left the band and was replaced by Ament's former band mate Bruce Fairweather. With Green River arm published 1986 EP Dry as a bone and 1987, the LP Rehab Doll on the label recently founded Sub Pop.

On October 31, 1987, arm severed in a dispute with Jeff Ament because in his opinion defective reservations at a concert of Green River to open for Jane 's Addiction and founded in 1988 with his former companions Steve Turner, the band Mudhoney.
