Martin Patrick Durkin

Martin Patrick Durkin ( born March 18, 1894 in Chicago, Illinois, † January 19, 1955 in Washington DC ) was an American politician (Democratic Party) and between 21 January 1953 to 10 September of the same year 7 Minister of Labor of the United States.

Martin Patrick Durkin served in the First World War. In 1921 he married Anna H. McNicholas, with whom he had three sons. In 1953 he was working as a minister briefly in the Cabinet Eisenhower.
