Martin Å tajnoch

Štajnoch Martin ( born September 15, 1990 in Bojnice, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Slovan Bratislava in the Kontinental Hockey League since 2008.

Career

Martin Štajnoch began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the MsHK Prievidza, for its first team he in the 2007/ 08 season his debut in the first league, the second Slovakian league, gave. Then the defender moved to HC Slovan Bratislava, for the first team he competed in the Slovakian Extraliga from 2008 to 2012. In his first two years with Slovan, he played in parallel also for the Slovak U-20 national team, which participated as a guest team in the Extraliga. With Slovan Bratislava he won the Slovak Championship title in the 2011/12 season.

For the 2012/13 season Slovan Bratislava was included in the Continental Hockey League in which Štajnoch immediately earned a starting berth.

Internationally

For Slovakia Štajnoch participated in the Under-18 World Youth Championship and the 2008 U20 World Junior Championships in 2009 and 2010 in part.
