2007–08 Slovak 1. Liga season
The season 2007/ 08 was the 15th regular hosting of the first league, the second Slovakian Hockey League. Master was the HC 05 Banská Bystrica, who ascended directly into the Extraliga.
Mode
In the main round each of the 15 teams completed a total of 42 games. The top four teams after the main round qualified for the playoff quarterfinals, while the teams to 12 already started on the places 5 in the pre- playoffs. For the other three teams in the season was ended prematurely. For a victory after regulation time, each team received three points with a victory after overtime to give two points for a loss after overtime there was a point. For one defeat after regulation time gave no points.
