Mary Alice

Mary Alice; actually Mary Alice Smith ( born December 3, 1941 in Indianola, Sunflower County, Mississippi) is an American actress. Her most famous role was that of the oracle in the movie The Matrix Revolutions, in which they replaced Gloria Foster, the actress in Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded.

Life

Mary Alice studied at the Chicago State University and worked as a teacher in Chicago. Mid-60s, she moved to New York and in 1971 had her Broadway debut as Cora in No Place to Be Somebody.
