Massimo Donati ( born March 26, 1981 in Sedegliano, Italy) is an Italian football player. He plays the position of midfielder.

Career

Massimo Donati began his career with the well-known talent pool Atalanta Bergamo. Here he was regularly employed and had a solid performance, which is why it undertook to AC Milan 2001/02 season. However, in Milan, Donati could not prevail, which is why he moved to Torino Calcio at the end of the season. But during the winter break this season, he moved to only a half season in Turin, to Parma, but even here, Donati proved unable to enforce. For the 2003/ 04 season, Sampdoria secured the services of midfielder, but after just one season, he moved again to the end of the season for Sicilian club FC Messina, where he could earn a regular place. For the 2006/07 season Donati returned to his original club, Atalanta, who started in the Serie A championship as a climber.

Donati games from July 2007 to August 2009 in Celtic Glasgow. He scored three goals in 31 league games for Celtic. On 28 August 2009 it was announced that Massimo Donati returns to Italy. He signed for Serie A AS Bari promoted a contract for four years, changed in the winter break of the 2012/13 season prematurely to Palermo.

For the 2013/14 season moved Donati newly promoted Hellas Verona.
