Massimo Taibi

Massimo Taibi ( born February 19, 1970 in Palermo, Italy ) is a retired Italian footballer.

Career

Taibi started with the professional football at Polisportiva Licata. After a loan to Trento Calcio 1921 he moved to AC Milan, for the time being, however, he did not play. After a loan to Como Calcio, where he played regularly, he moved to Piacenza Calcio. For Poacenza he completed 177 games in five years and was the undisputed choice goalkeeper. After the good performance in Piacenza Milan signed him again. After a few Einsaätzen however, he was awarded again, this time to the AC Venice in 1907.

After some good performances for Venice, the English giants Manchester United became aware of Taibi. So he moved in summer 1999 to ManU. After eleven goals conceded in four league games as well as a serious mistake, he was not considered further. This led to a change back to Italy: In January 2000, it took on Reggina. There he was able to convince not only in 52 games, but also achieve a goal as goalkeeper. 2001 Taibi moved to Atalanta, where he played 131 games in four years. After two more years at FC Turin he had from 2007 to 2009 his career at Ascoli Calcio finish.
