Matrinchã

Matrinchã is a small Brazilian, municipality in the state of Goiás in the mesoregion Northwest Goiás and in the micro- region of Rio Vermelho. It is located west of the Brazilian capital Brasília and Goiânia northwest of the capital.

Geographical location

The municipal area extends along the right, the north bank of the Rio Vermelho and borders the municipalities of:

• To the north by Aruanã and Araguapaz
• To the east by Faina
• To the south Goiás Velho and Itapirapuã
• On the west by Britânia
