Matteo Darmian ( born December 2, 1989 in Legnano ) is an Italian football player. Since summer 2011, the center-back is at FC Turin under contract.

Matteo Darmian started in 2006 his professional career at AC Milan in Serie A. He made ​​his debut on 19 May 2007, when he came in to replace Giuseppe Favalli in the 59th minute. Udinese Calcio won the game 3-2. His second game for Milan, he completed on 21 December 2008, ie almost one year and seven months after its debut. On 17 July 2009 he was loaned to Calcio Padova in Serie B. In July 2010, the defender moved to Palermo. After a year, he was loaned out to Torino FC in the B series.

National

Darmian was active in various Italian national teams. On 31 January 2006 he completed his first game against Portugal in the U- 17 team, which ended in a 2-2 draw. After he was also employed in the Italian U-18, U -19 and U-20 national team several times, he made his debut on 25 March 2009 in the U -21 team. The match against Austria ended in a 2-2 draw. In the course of the same calendar year, he also received regular appearances in the U-20 team, for whom he still took in the following year.
