Mattia De Sciglio

Mattia De Sciglio (born 20 October 1992 in Milan ) is an Italian footballer who plays for the first team of AC Milan since 2011.

It can be used on the right and on the left side of defense. He can also play at right midfield.

Career

Club career

De Sciglio began his career in 2001 at the age of nine years in Cimiano, a district of Milan. A year later he moved to 2002/03 season in the youth department of the prestigious AC Milan and went through all youth stations.

His first try for the pros, he completed on September 28, 2011, when he was a substitute in the Champions League group match against Viktoria Plzen in the 87th minute for Ignazio Abate. In the return match on December 6, it was used in a 2-2 draw over the full season.

National

De Sciglio was from September 2010 to 2011 National Player of the Italian Under-19. In its eight missions he scored a goal. This was to make the score 3-0 in the match against the Faroe Islands on 9 October 2011.

From 2011 he ran for the U20 national team and played five internationals. His debut for the senior national team of Italy he gave on 21 March 2013 friendly against Brazil, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
