Max Gail
Gail Maxwell Trowbridge Junior ( born April 5, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan ) is an American actor.
Biography
Gail Maxwell Trowbridge Junior was born the son of Mary Elizabeth, nee Scanlon, and Maxwell Trowbridge Gail in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up in Grosse Ile. After 1965, he received his bachelor's degree from Williams College and in 1969 a master's degree at the University of Michigan, he worked for a time as a teacher at a private school before he flew in 1970 as an actor at The Little Fox Theatre in San Francisco in the theater version of the one above the Cuckoo's Nest debuted.
After The organization and Dirty Harry, he made his feature film debut in films in 1971, he was occupied in 1975 for the role of Det Stan Wojciehowicz in the television series Barney Miller. The Polish daredevils Stan Wojciehowicz he played in 170 episodes until 1982. For this role he was nominated in 1979 and 1980 respectively as Best Supporting Actor for an Emmy.
Private life
Max Gail was married twice. His marriage to his first wife Willie Beir, with whom he had a daughter, lasted from 1983 until 1986. Willie Beir died of cancer. Since 1989 he has been with Nan Harris, with whom he has two children together, married.
