McKesson Corporation

McKesson Corporation is a U.S. company headquartered in San Francisco, California.

The Fortune Global 500 companies by revenue is the world's largest in the field of health care and the fourteenth largest in the United States (according to Fortune 500 in 2010 )

McKesson was founded in 1833 in New York City under the name of Olcott & McKesson by Charles Olcott and John McKesson. Daniel Robbins was another partner and after Olcott's death in 1853, the company acted as McKesson & Robbins.

In addition to its locations in North America, McKesson also has international offices in Australia and Europe (France, Netherlands and United Kingdom). Due to the highly regulated and driven by market stakeholders McKesson does not at present see no interest in a subsidiary in Germany.

McKesson in the UK has its headquarters in Warwick and employs around 500 staff in the UK.
