Mehmet Hilmi Yılmaz ( May 22nd 1979 in Of, Turkey) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Association

Began the career of Yılmaz in his youth associations Trabzon Telekomspor, Gümüşhane Doğanspor, Çanakkale Dardanelspor, Altay Izmir and Samsunspor.

His first professional league year he graduated from in the season 2003/ 04, when he moved from the youth of the then Süper Lig club Samsunspor for a fee of one million euros to Trabzonspor. With Trabzonspor 2004 he won the Turkish Cup. He was then loaned to Denizlispor, before he moved to his current club Ankaraspor in July 2006 2005. For the season 2008/ 09 he moved to local rivals MKE Ankaragucu.

In early September 2012, announced his move to newly promoted Akhisar Belediyespor. He signed a two year contract here. After half a season, he left Akhisar Belediyespor and moved to third division Kizilcahamamspor.

National

Yılmaz was nominated to his time at Samsunspor the first time for the Turkish U- 21 team and completed for these eight games. He then played in the years 2003 to 2004 twice for the second selection for the Turkish national team and once for the first selection.
