Mélisey, Haute-Saône

Mélisey is a commune in the Haute- Saône in the Franche-Comté region. It is capital of the canton Mélisey.

Geography

The municipality covers 20.67 square kilometers at 325-480 meters above sea level. The village lies on the River Ognon, east of the village rises to over 800 meters above sea level, the forest area of ​​the " Mont de Vannes ." Situated on the edge of the nature reserve of the "Thousand pond " ( Plateau des Mille Étangs ) and is part of the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges.

Attractions
