Menameradiel

Menameradiel (until 31 December 2010:? Menaldumadeel ( listen / i ) ) is a small rural community in the province of Friesland west of Leeuwarden ( Frisian Ljouwert ) in the Netherlands. It has 13,724 inhabitants (1 January 2013). The main town of the municipality is Menaldum ( Frisian Menamer ) and is approximately 9 km west of Leeuwarden ( Ljouwert ) and 8 km east of Franeker. Through the village the highway A 31 from Harlingen ( Frisian urine ) runs to Leeuwarden ( Ljouwert ).
