Mer de Noms is the debut album by the progressive rock band A Perfect Circle. In German means the coming of the French titles sea of names. The album was released in Germany on 19 May 2000.

The music on Mer de Noms was compared with a mixture of Devin Townsend filter and tool. The usually rather melancholic and atmospheric, only partially harder metal and similar pieces are from Billy Howerdel ( Nine Inch Nails ).
