Michael Faraday Prize

The Michael Faraday Prize from the Royal Society has been awarded since 1986 every year for the public presentation of scientific findings in the UK. It is connected to a silver medal and is worth 2500 pounds. The winner keeps in January of the following year a lecture on which the medal is awarded. It is named after physicist Michael Faraday, who was known for his public lectures.
