Michael Fink ( born 1 February 1982 in Waiblingen ) is a German football player. He mostly plays as a defensive midfielder.

Career

As of 1992, Michael Fink played for VfB Stuttgart and first went through successfully the youth teams. With the B -Jugend VfB he won the German championship in 1999. In the A- youth he was, inter alia, along with Kevin Kuranyi Junior Cup Winners 2001. Later he played in the 2nd team of VfB in the Regionalliga Süd. In the season 2004/ 05 brought him Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga. While he completed in the first season only eleven games in the first league, he took part in the following season with 33 games and scored four goals. In the DFB-Pokal, he scored one goal.

At the beginning of the 2006/07 season Michael Fink moved to Eintracht Frankfurt. There he regularly played in defensive midfield. In the DFB Cup quarter-finals, he scored after eleven minutes, the first goal of the Frankfurt against Kickers Offenbach (final score 3-0). In Eintracht Frankfurt he was the player with the most stakes season (32 games, 3 goals ) together with Ioannis Amanatidis. He scored the goal of the month in January 2008 by a bicycle kick in a friendly against SC Paderborn 07

For the 2009/10 season Michael Fink moved to Beşiktaş Istanbul. The midfielder scored the first goal of the season 2009/10 in the Turkcell Süper Lig in the match against city rivals Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor.

In the winter of 2010/11 he moved on loan back to Germany and signed with Borussia Mönchengladbach, but returned after the conclusion of the season back to Istanbul. Because of the regime applicable to foreigners in the Turkish league but was sorted out there and belonged to the season 2011/ 12 is no longer the first-team squad on. In July 2011, Fink joined Beşiktaş for a year to league rivals Samsunspor.

After he was out of contract in July 2012, Fink was committed by the German second division side FC Erzgebirge Aue in December 2012. He got a contract until 2014.
