Michael Sandstød

Michael Sandstød ( born June 23, 1968 in Copenhagen) is a former Danish racing cyclist.

Michael Sandstød was one of the strongest and most versatile Danish racer in the 1990s and early 2000s, successfully to rail and road. He was only 24 times Danish Champion in various disciplines on the web in the individual pursuit, team pursuit, points race, and in a two - team driving, in the road race and the time trial on the road.

International were his greatest successes on the track a bronze medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona in the Team Pursuit ( with Ken Frost, Jimmi Madsen Jan Bo Petersen and Klaus Kynde Nielsen ) and the title of vice world champion at the 1996 Track World Championships in Manchester.
