Michael Seibert (figure skater)

Michael Seibert ( born January 1, 1960 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American former figure skater.

Seibert started in ice dancing, his partner was Judy Blumberg. Their first World Cup medal won Seibert and Blumberg at the World Championship 1983 in Helsinki with bronze behind the British Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean and Natalya Bestemjanowa and Andrei Bukin from the Soviet Union. The same result was repeated at the World Championships in 1984 in Ottawa. At the World Championships 1985 in Tokyo, the ice dance bronze medal won his third in a row, this time behind Bestemjanowa and Bukin and Marina Klimova and Sergei Ponomarenko of the Soviet Union. Seibert and Blumberg participated in two Olympic Games. 1980 in Lake Placid they finished seventh place in 1984 in Sarajevo, they were fourth.
