Michael Seirton
Michael Seirton is a British art director and production designer, who once won the Academy Award for Best Production Design, and again was nominated for the Oscar.
Life
Seirton began his career as an art director and production designer in 1977 of the television series The pros and worked until 2004 at the scenic features of more than thirty films and television series with.
At the Academy Awards in 1982 he was nominated along with Richard Sylbert for the Academy Award for Best Production Design in Reds (1981 ) directed by and starring Warren Beatty and Diane Keaton and Edward Herrmann in the lead roles.
In 1983, he won the Academy Award along with Stuart Craig and Robert W. Laing for Gandhi ( 1982) by Richard Attenborough with Ben Kingsley, Candice Bergen and Edward Fox.
