Michał Żyro (* September 20, 1992 in Warsaw ) is a Polish footballer. He plays in midfield preferably as a left winger.

Career

Association

Michał Żyro played in his youth from 1999 to 2005 for KS Piaseczno before he moved to the youth of the first division club Legia Warsaw. There he accomplished at the beginning of the season 2009/10 made ​​it into the first team, but only came primarily in the second team, which plays in the separate junior league Młoda Ekstraklasa used. On 20 November 2009 the 14th matchday of the 2009/10 season, he made his debut at the age of seventeen years and two months under coach Jan Urban in the Ekstraklasa, as in the home game against Polonia Warsaw ( 1:1 ), he in the 89th minute was substituted for Marcin Smoliński. National

Michał Żyro has played since the U-16 for almost all youth national teams of the Polish Football Association and made his debut for the Polish U -20 on 31 August 2011 in the match against the German U -20 ( 2:4 ) when he was in the starting and also scored a hit.

On 2 May 2012, he was nominated by Franciszek Smuda coach for the reserve squad for the 2012 European Football Championship in Poland and Ukraine, although he had not played an international match. But since no one injured, he was not re-nominated.

Take place at the European Championship, Żyro therefore announced on 1 June 2012, his debut for the Polish U -21 in the match against Moldova (4-2 ) when he was in the starting.
