Miguel Calero

Miguel Calero ( born April 14, 1971 in Geneva, † December 4, 2012 in Mexico City) was a Colombian soccer player on the position of the goalkeeper.

Association

Calero began his professional career in 1991 with Deportivo Cali, with whom he won the Colombian championship in the 1995/96 season. The end of 1997 he left Cali and played the next two and a half years for Nacional Medellin, with whom he 1998 and 1999 Copa Merconorte another league title won.

After poor performances at the Copa América 2007, he announced his retirement from the Colombian National Team.
