Mikael Rickfors

Mikael Rickfors ( born December 4, 1948 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish rock musician. The musician, who has played briefly in the early 1970s as a singer with The Hollies, entered both as a solo artist and as a songwriter in appearance.

Career

Rickfors launched in 1968 his musical career as a singer and bass guitarist for the Swedish band Bamboo who split after the release of two singles in 1970. A year later he succeeded singer Allan Clarke of The Hollies, who launched a solo career. The band had noticed at a joint tour in Scandinavia on the musician. With the single "The Baby", the first panel of the strip with Polydor, the band had a minor chart success.
