Mikhail Krivonosov
Mikhail Petrovich Krivonosov (Russian: Михаил Петрович Кривоносов, English transcription Mikhail Krimonosov, Belarusian Міхаіл Крываносаў - Mikhail Krywanossau - Mikhail Kryvanosau, . Born May 1, 1929 in Minsk, † 11 November 1995) was a Soviet hammer thrower who successfully in the 1950s had.
He participated in two Olympic Games and won a silver medal. In addition, he was European Champion and one Vice-European Champion.
He scored with a hammer, grenade and shot a total of 52 Belarusian records, including 11 Soviet records and 6 world records in the hammer throw.
The six-time Soviet champion was one of the " lightweights ": With 1.90 m tall, he brought nearly 100 kilos.
