Milo Ventimiglia

Milo Anthony Ventimiglia ( born July 8, 1977 in Anaheim, California) is an American actor.

Career

The son of a Sicilian started early with acting and starred in countless plays on the El Modena High School with. So it was that he received a scholarship to the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. After completing his education, he attended the University of California at Los Angeles. In 1995, he landed a role on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air with Will Smith and starred in several films, but rarely as the main character.

Ventimiglia starred in various commercials, as for the car brand Chrysler, for the Apple iBook or for the channel The WB and The CW.

The breakthrough came with the role of Jess Mariano, the Bad Boy of the fictional town of Stars Hollow, in the television series Gilmore Girls, for which he spent two years as a permanent member of the cast. End of the third season he got out, he got several movie offers. However Ventimiglia came back for four guest appearances of season 4 and for two performances of the 6th season in the series. Then the story of Jess had officially ended.

After his departure from the show Gilmore Girls, he played major roles in the series American Dreams and Bedford Diaries, however, were only broadcast in the USA.

In September 2006, the U.S. launched the television series Heroes on NBC, in which he played the role of the nurse Peter Petrelli. Since October 2007, Heroes is also broadcast in Germany on RTL 2. The series and thus Ventimiglia engagement ended in 2010.

The end of 2006 started in the U.S., the film Rocky Balboa. In this Ventimiglia played the son of Rocky.

Ventimiglia has also been active as a director and producer. In 2007 he gave his debut in this regard and directed the mini-series It's a Mall World. It was followed by various productions, inter alia, 2011 he directed an episode of Suite 7

Private life

From 2002 to 2006 he was romantically involved with Alexis Bledel, whom he had met during the filming of Gilmore Girls. December 2007 to February 2009 he was romantically involved with actress Hayden Panettiere, who starred opposite him in the series Heroes.

Milo Ventimiglia is a vegetarian since childhood.
