Minuscule 85

Minuscule 85 (in the Gregory- Aland numbering ), ε 391 ( von Soden ), is a Greek Minuskelhandschrift of the New Testament on 30 parchment leaves (14 × 9.7 cm). Using palaeography was dated the manuscript to the 13th century. The manuscript is not complete.

Description

The manuscript contains the text of the four Gospels with numerous gaps. He has written one column with 25 rows. The ink is light brown, the parchment is thick. The manuscript contains κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonianische sections ( no Eusebischen lines), lectionary markings and incipits.

History

In the past, the manuscript was in Augsburg (like Code 83 and 84). She was examined by Johann Albrecht Bengel, Johann Martin Augustin Scholz, John William Burgon, and Caspar René Gregory.

The code is located in the Bavarian State Library ( Gr. 569 ) in Munich.
