" The place is first mentioned in 1220 in records Babenberg land register (as Miterendorf ). 1239 seems a Friedrich von Mitter village as witness to a deed. 1529 Mitterndorf is completely razed to the ground as a result of the Turkish raids, but re-established in 1571. In the land register of the castle Kielmannsegg ( 1600) we find the notation ' Mitternddorff ' before. 1658 buys the rule of Friedrich Graf Cavriani the Unterwaltersdorf Castle ( Kielmannsegg ) and gives him the nickname Schön Graben ( ' 's grief '). Since our place was then subject to the Cavrianischen rule, it leads, as can be seen from the oldest still existing church seal, nicknamed ' 's grief, VuWW '. On 9 July 1917, the municipal council shall issue a permit to carry the place name Mitterndorf Fischa. "
