Moora (Western Australia)

Moora is a village in the Australian state of Western Australia, with around 1,600 inhabitants. The village is located 177 kilometers north of Perth in the Wheatbelt region.

The city is the largest wheat producing area between Geraldton and Perth. In 1999, the city was flooded twice due to heavy rains.

Events

The Moora Agricultural Show is held every year in September and offers for horse and fire shows and a fashion show.

The following month, takes place the Moora Cup Race Day.
