Mr. Methane
Mr. Methane (actually Paul Oldfield, born 1966 in Macclesfield ) is a British Kunstfurzer.
Mr. Methane is " Flatulist " on German also Kunstfurzer, so a person who by modulating his flatulence through rhythmic, just the right amount tensing and relaxing the external anus sphincter ( sphincter ani externus ) diverse melodies and sound effects to nature sounds like thunderstorms and Elchröhren can produce and thus as an artist occurs in public.
He says that he recognized his talent at the age of fifteen years with yoga exercises. Already during his school years attended his demonstrations before classmates for conversation, so he gave regular performances. After his training period, he met with British Rail in the late 1980s in Derbyshire Paul Genders know who played in the Macclesfielder cover band "The Screaming Beavers " and took him as a guest artist with the program. After his performances met with recognition from the public, he decided his career as a professional artist. His 2000 released album "Mr Methane.com " includes, among other things, his interpretations of the Blue Danube Waltz, the 1812 Overture and Swan Lake. The album was produced by former Jethro Tull drummer Barrie Barlow, who was also at times be manager. This was followed by a Christmas album entitled " Merry Methane " and a video cassette or DVD with the title "Mr Methane Lets Rip ", published under his own label BO Productions Ltd. ..
Oldfield claims to to have been the only professional " Flatulist " of his time. He sat down in 2006 to rest.
