The SPL Princess Anastasia is a ferry, which is used by the Russian St. Peter Line since March 31, 2011 at the traffic between Stockholm, Tallinn and St. Petersburg. The visit of Russia aboard this ship is visa- free for 72 hours, as well as aboard the Princess Maria.

History

The ship was built in 1986 by the Wartsila shipyard in Turku, Finland and delivered to the former belonging to the Viking Line Rederi AB Slite. The construction of the ship was commissioned on 10 September 1984, the keel laying took place on 1 April 1985. The launch took place on 31 August 1985 and again since April 29, 1986, the ferry was under the name Olympia as sister ship of Mariella on the route Helsinki - Stockholm used. It was sold in 1993, renamed the Pride of Bilbao and briefly later in Bilbao and on the route Portsmouth - Bilbao operated until the line was discontinued in September 2010.

Stockholm - - Tallinn - In January 2011, the ship in Lithuania for the Princess Maria Ltd for the use of St. Peter Line on the route Saint-Petersburg was Sankt -Petersburg rebuilt. Since then, the ship is named after the Russian- German princess Anastasia. As of September 12, 2011 SPL Princess Anastasia runs weekly schedule according to Saint-Petersburg - Tallinn - Stockholm - St. Petersburg - Helsinki - Mariehamn - Stockholm - Tallinn - St. Petersburg. 2012 got into the competition a Finnish authorities, from March 2012, the Maltese- flagged vessel is considered as a Russian site and the travelers from Russia and third countries with the unique Schengen visa is only one allowed to leave the board.
