Mühlenberge

Mühlenberge is a municipality in the north of Brandenburg district Havel country. It belongs to the Official Friesack based in Friesack.

Geography

Mühlenberge located approximately 60 km north-west of Berlin, on the eastern edge of up to 77 meters above sea level. NN high Ländchen Friesack and west of the Great Havelländisches main channel. Mühlenberge is centrally located between the cities of Rathenow, Nauen, Kyritz and Neuruppin.

History

The district Haages is first mentioned in 1307. The municipality was created on 31 December 2002 from the voluntary merger of the previously independent municipalities Haage, Senzke and Wagenitz.
