Mujinga Kambundji

Mujinga Kambundji ( born June 17, 1992) is a Swiss track and field athlete, specialized in the sprint.

Early on, there was Kambundjis talent over the short run routes, at a young age but it was also successful in other disciplines, including in the high and long jump. After the European Youth Olympic Festival in the 100 -meter run won the silver medal in Tampere in 2009, she won the Swiss Championship of assets, the short sprint double gold medals in the 100 - and 200 -meter run. She was then elected to the Swiss Athletics Youngster of the Year 2009.

At the European Champion Clubs Cup 2010 Kambundji could the limits in the 100 - to undercut and 200 -meter run for the U20 World Championships. Then Kambundji represented Switzerland in the Second League of the European Team Championship in Belgrade over 100 and 200 meters, where she won the 200 -meter run. 2012, Kambundji took the title of Swiss Champion in the 100 and 200 meters, 2013, it was able to qualify over 60 meters for Indoor Athletics Championships.

Mujinga Kambundji starts for the STBern and is coached by Jacques Cordey, formerly in charge of the current Swiss record holder in the 100 -meter run, Mireille Donders. Kambundji is the daughter of Berne and a Congolese. She attends a high school.
