Murray Chatlain

Murray Chatlain ( born January 19, 1963 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada) is appointed Archbishop of Keewatin -Le Pas and Apostolic Administrator of Mackenzie -Fort Smith.

Life

Murray Chatlain received on 15 May 1987, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the Diocese of Saskatoon.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 23 June 2007, Coadjutor Bishop of Mackenzie -Fort Smith. The Apostolic Nuncio to Canada, Archbishop Luigi Ventura, donated to him on 14 September of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Saskatoon, Albert Legatt, and the Bishop of Mackenzie -Fort Smith, Denis Croteau, OMI. On 10 May 2008, Murray Chatlain in succession by Denis Croteau, OMI, who resigned for reasons of age, Bishop of Mackenzie -Fort Smith.

On December 6, 2012, he was named Benedict XVI. Archbishop of Keewatin -Le Pas and until a successor is appointed, he is also Apostolic Administrator of Mackenzie -Fort Smith.
