Murray-River-Nationalpark

The Murray River National Park is a national park in the southeast of the Australian state of South Australia, 186 km north-east of Adelaide, and immediately southwest of Renmark. The National Park comprises three separate areas, Katarapko, Lyrup Flat and Bulyong Iceland.

In Katarapko there are flood plains and various wetlands. There, like breeding water birds, which makes this part of the park to an interesting place for bird watching.

The Lyrup Flats just west of Renmark totals 20 square kilometers of the river's northern bank and the floodplains of the Murray River. In addition to bird watching there are good opportunities for fishing.

Bulyong Iceland situated in the Murray River is accessible only by boat and provide habitat for western gray kangaroos, emus, pelicans, kingfishers and various parrot species.
