Namdalen

Namdalen is a region in central Norway, in Fylke Nord-Trøndelag. It includes the municipalities Flatanger, Namdalseid, Namsos, Fosnes, Nærøy, Vikna, Leka, Overhalla Høylandet, Grong, Namsskogan, Røyrvik and Lierne.

A distinction between the exterior Namdal ( Ytre Namdal ) and the interior Namdal ( Indre Namdal ).
