Flatanger is a Norwegian municipality in Nord-Trøndelag Fylke with 1145 inhabitants ( as of March 31, 2013). The seat of government is in Lauvsnes.

Sports

In 2012 Flatanger was known by the first ascent of the most difficult climbing routes that are located in the cave " Hansehellaren " near the place. So there is currently one of the most difficult routes in the world at Flatanger. The route was first climbed Change in October 2012 by Adam Ondra Czechs.
