Naomi Bentley

Naomi Bentley is a British actress.

Life

Bentley spent three years studying acting at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in 2004. Gave you 2004 her television debut in an episode of the television series Holby City, followed by an appearance in Blue Murder.

As a theater actress, she has appeared in the plays Burn by Deborah Gearing, Chatroom by Enda Walsh and Citizenship by Mark Ravenhill at the National Theatre in London. She played Martha in 2005, the play Martha Loves Michael at the Pleasance Theatre in Edinburgh at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2006 and the role of Leah in the play Beautiful Thing by Jonathan Harvey at the Sound Theatre. In 2009 she played at the Almeida Theatre in London the role of Gabrielle York ( as a young woman ) in the new play When the Rain Stops Falling by Andrew Bovell of the Australian playwright. The critics praised her " beautiful vulnerability " as an unfortunate young woman who falls in love with husband Tom.

Bentley's other TV and film roles since 2004, was Mary Jackson in the detective series Dalziel and Pascoe, Leonilda Casanova, Rachel in the British sitcom Grownups and the role of Shelley in the produced by Channel 4 film The Mark of Cain. The second season of the sci-fi series Primeval, in the Bentley played a major role, was shown on ITV in March and April 2008.

She starred in the BBC comedy Mutual Friends alongside Marc Warren, Keeley Hawes, Sarah Alexander and Alexander Armstrong. In 2008, she was also seen in the role of the medical student Holly Farr in crime series Silent Dalton. In 2009 she had a starring role in the Christmas special episode of the British mystery series Jonathan Creek.
