National Prize for Literature (Chile)
The Premio Nacional de Literatura de Chile is a Chilean literary prize. He was endowed on 8 November 1942 during the presidency Juan Antonio Ríos Morales '. Until 1972 he was awarded annually since every two years. He is seen as recognition of the overall work of the respective prize winner and consists of a cash prize and a lifetime annuity.
