Nazyr Mankiev

Nasir Junusowitsch Mankijew (born 27 January 1985 in Surchachi, Checheno - Ingush ASSR, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union ) is a Russian wrestler of Ingush nationality. He was the 2008 Beijing Olympic champion in Greco-Roman Bantamweight.

Career

Nasir Mankijew began as a teenager in 1998 with the rings. After initial successes in the junior age he went to Krasnoyarsk, where has developed to the most successful wrestler of all time Alexander Karelin a wrestler and wrestling center for the local sports club SWSM. He wrestles exclusively in the Greco-Roman style, and has been, or is trained by Mikhail Alexandrovich Gamsin and Ruslan Tschakijew. The only 1,55 m tall athlete weighs about 55 kg, and starts at bantamweight. He is a member of the military, currently operated only as a wrestler.

His debut on the international wrestling mat was Nasir Mankijew at the European Championships in Moscow in 2006. There he lost bantamweight his first and only fight against Rowshan Bairamov from Azerbaijan and only came on the 12th Place.

As a Russian champion in 2007, he was also used in the 2007 World Championships in Baku bantamweight. He lost there against the Koreans Park Eun- chul. However, since the Koreans reached the final, Nazir Mankiew could continue fighting in the consolation round and won with victories over Maher Boutouri from Tunisia, Rowshan Bairamov and Ildar Hafizov from Uzbekistan nor the bronze medal. In October 2007, he also launched at the World Military Games in Hyderabad and came bantamweight behind Park Eun- chul and Wuhar Rahimow from Ukraine to 3rd place.

In March 2008, Nasir Mankijew won the Hungarian Grand Prix in Szombathely bantamweight before Samuel Hazewinkel from the U.S., Natig Bahirow from Belarus and Marat Garipov from Kazakhstan. Immediately afterwards, he helped in Szombathely Russian wrestler team to World Cup victory with wins over Gogitadse Lasha from Georgia and Peter Modos from Hungary, against Lee Jung - baek from South Korea, however, he lost on points.

At the 2008 European Championships in Tampere, it was not going well for him. Although he won his opening fight against Jan Hocko from the Czech Republic, but then lost again against Rövşən Bayramov. The chance of the consolation round still to win the bronze medal, he could not perceive, as he lost after a victory over Daniel Molin from Sweden against Peter Modos. In Baku, he lost in the final battle against Eltschin Aliyev of Azerbaijan in Moscow and in the semifinal against Choi Gyu -jin from South Korea.

2011 renounced Nasir Manikijew favor of his brother Bekchan Mankijew to start at the Russian Championship and thus also on startup in international championships. But in November 2011, he won the Haparanda Cup in Sweden. In January 2012, he was in the important " Ivan Poddubny " Tournament in Tyumen behind his compatriots Mingijan Semyonov, Stepan Maranjan, Ivan and Sergei Tatarinow Popruschko only on the 5th Place and in the Russian Championship 2012, he was beaten in the final of Mingijan Semyonov.
