Neded

Neded (Hungarian Negyed ) is a municipality in western Slovakia. It is located in the Danube lowland on the right bank of the Vah, 14 km from Kolárovo and 17 km from Šaľa.

The village was first mentioned in 1113 as Niget.

Until 1918 the town belonged in the county Neutra the Kingdom of Hungary, then came to the newly created Czechoslovakia, but was due to the First Vienna Award 1938-1945 again a part of Hungary. Since 1993 he is a part of present-day Slovakia. 1954, parts of the municipal area of the south downstream and newly created community Dedina Mládeže assigned.

In the village there is a church of the Holy Archangel Michael from 1780.
