Neil Flynn

Neil Richard Flynn ( born November 13, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American actor and comedian who primarily for his roles in the TV series Scrubs - is known Beginners and The Middle.

Life and work

Childhood and youth

Neil Flynn is of Irish descent, was born in Chicago, the third of six children and grew up in Waukegan, Illinois. There he attended the Waukegan East High School, as the students in 1978 along with his partner Mike Shklair the Illinois Individual Events state championship for the won " best comedic duo performance ". After he had graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, Flynn returned back to Chicago in 1982 to pursue an acting career. Career

As of 2001, Neil Flynn played the nameless janitor on the television series Scrubs - what earned him a generally high level of awareness. He initially auditioned for the role of Dr. Cox before, but it has been awarded later to John C. McGinley, and was eventually taken by the producers as a caretaker under contract. Originally it was my first day occur only in the pilot episode, due to the high popularity of the role he belonged, however, to the end of the eighth season of solid cast of Scrubs. The question of the identity of the caretaker there runs through the whole series, even Flynn's role in The Fugitive was humorous englobed for this reason in the plot. After the supposed end of the series Neil Flynn picked up the pilot for the series The Middle, which was however not immediately implemented. Then Flynn signed a contract for the now contrary to the original intention of the producer Bill Lawrence converted ninth season of Scrubs. Since the Middle was ultimately implemented as a series, he appeared in only one episode of the ninth season of Scrubs.

Together with his colleagues Scrubs Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes, John C. McGinley and Bill Lawrence Flynn came also in 2002 in the largest Merry Muppet Christmas Movie of all time. 15 years after On the run, he worked in 2008, finally, for the second time with Harrison Ford together when he played the FBI agent Smith in the film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
