Nemea (Greek Νεμέα ( f sg ) ) is a town and municipality on the Peloponnese. It is located near the ancient sanctuary of the same name and is located in a major wine -growing region. Here is produced by more than 30 wineries in the Nemea red wine. The trails, paths of wine ' (Greek Dromi tou Krasiou Δρόμοι του Κρασιού ) lead from the village in the vineyards.

The village is situated at 320 meters above sea level and has about 3,800 inhabitants.

In the town is the archaeological place of Aidonia.
