Pylos-Nestor

The municipality Pylos Nestor (Greek Δήμος Πύλου - Νέστορος ) lies on the Peloponnese peninsula, covering the southern and western part of the Messinian peninsula.

It was re-created with the administrative reform in 2010 from six previous municipalities and has its headquarters in the town of Pylos.

The population figures are derived from the results of the 2001 census; the municipal districts correspond to the municipalities that existed from 1997 to 2010.
