Nemsdorf-Göhrendorf

Nemsdorf - Göhrendorf is a municipality in the west of the Saale district in Saxony- Anhalt, Germany. It is the seat of the municipality Weida -Land.

Geography

Nemsdorf - Göhrendorf located 5 km southeast of cross- ford on the road from Barnstädt after Aseleben.

Traffic

Two kilometers south of the village the main road runs 180 (Lutherstadt Eisleben -Naumburg ), nearest motorway is the A38 at Espenstedt at Obhausen. The place has a break point on the railway line Merseburg - Querfurt, served by the Burgenlandbahn.

Community structure

Nemsdorf - Göhrendorf is a so-called double village. The community Nemsdorf in 1965 merged with the municipality Göhrendorf.

In every part of the village there are Pentecostal boys clubs. This tradition is regionally restricted. In 1972 the Nemsdorfer carnival club was founded. A home office there since December 17, 2006, which was founded and designed by the History Club.
