Nenzlingen

Nenzlingen ( Baselbieter German: Aenzlige ) is a municipality in the district of Laufen in the canton of Basel -Country in Switzerland.

Geography

Nenzlingen situated in the Laufental to 447 m asl the Blue - south slope above the river Birs. Neighboring municipalities are Blue BL, Brislach, clamps, Grellingen and Pfeffingen BL.

History

The area of Nenzlingen was inhabited early on, but was found in 1944 in the Birsmatten base grotto a grave from the Middle Stone Age (about 4000 BC ) with a female skeleton, the oldest Swiss.
