History

Altbulach was first mentioned in 1390, but could already have been composed around 800 and received the prefix alto in the city name to distinguish it from the city incurred until the 13th century ( New ) Bulach. Oberhaugstett was first mentioned in 1355, 1374 and Liebelsberg Martin Moos 1423rd but all three places are certainly considerably older, Liebelsberg was created as Waldhufendorf. Neubulach until 1799 mostly just called Bulach, is a particularly well-preserved small medieval mining town and was first mentioned in 1275, the Silver Mining 1286. During the 13th century the mining apparently had its golden age, which perhaps lasted until the 14th century. It probably was a mining settlement that was perhaps raised to 1274 by the Counts of Hohenberg to the city Bulach. It is sometimes assumed that the mining could have used before the 13th century, but there has been but no evidence. 1364 sold the Counts of Hohenberg city and rule Bulach including the mine to the Elector Palatine, which they sold in 1440 to the Counts of Württemberg. At that time, the mining had its heyday long since passed, further attempts were made around 1478, in the 1530s, 1551-1553, 1557-1563, 1567-1568, 1594-1608, 1656-1657, 1718-1727, 1747-1761, 1773-1790 ( excavation of the water tunnel ), and finally from 1820 to 1831 ( 1822-1831 excavation of the Wilhelm- studs, now called Hella lucky studs ). However, it has been stated repeatedly that the deposit had been mined so far -reaching in the Middle Ages that no profitable ore more were available. 1916-1932 and 1937-1945 were trying different companies underground, but above all from the old heaps of gold and win bismuth. Supposedly Neubulach be burned to 1326, a second town fire occurred 1505. During the Peasants ' War of 1525 Neubulach was occupied by the farmers. Other than sometimes claimed, but neither the city were set on fire while still destroying the (presumably lying quietly ) mine. The present city was re- formed on 1 January 1975 by combining the city Neubulach and the communities Altbulach, Liebelsberg, Martin Moos and Oberhaugstett.
