The Office Neuhardenberg is a 1992 formed Office in Brandenburg, where first nine municipalities in the former circles Seelow and Strausberg had (now district or Mark- Land, Brandenburg ) together to form a management group. The seat is in the municipality Neuhardenberg. Through municipal mergers, the Office currently has three communities.

Geographical location

The Office Neuhardenberg located in the center of the district or Mark- land in Brandenburg ( Germany ). It is bordered on the north by the Office Barnim - Oder, in the east on the community Letschin, on the southeast by the official free town of Seelow, to the south by the Office Seelow country and to the city Muencheberg, and to the west by the Office märkische Switzerland.

Outline of the Office - The municipalities with its districts

The Office Neuhardenberg currently manages only three municipalities:

  • Gusow - Platkow with the districts Gusow and Platkow
  • Märkische level with the districts Batzlow, Reichenberg and Ringenwalde
  • Neuhardenberg with the districts Altfriedland, Wulkow at Trebnitzgrund and Quappendorf

History

On 3 July 1992, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg gave its approval for the formation of the Office Neuhardenberg, has been set for the conclusion of July 16, 1992. Seat of the official administration was the community Neuhardenberg. The following nine municipalities from the former circles Seelow and Strausberg were summarized in:

On December 31, 1997 resulted from the merger of the municipalities Gusow and Platkow the new community Gusow - Platkow. On 1 May 1998, the municipalities Altfriedland and Wulkow were incorporated in Trebnitzgrund in the community Neuhardenberg.

The Ministry of the Interior approved with effect from 31 December 2001, the formation of the new office belonging to community märkische height from the communities Batzlow, Reichenberg and Ringenwalde.

The community Quappendorf was incorporated into the municipality Neuhardenberg 2003 by law. Quappendorf complained at first before the actual incorporation in the Constitutional Court of the State of Brandenburg against the inclusion; it was rejected. The proceedings before the Federal Constitutional Court was ultimately unsuccessful.

Office directors

The first official director was Gerhard Maslowski, the age-related, the Office gave up in 2006. In July 2006, the current office director, Dr. Grit Brinkmann took office.
