The Office Barnim - Oder, previously Office Wriezen - Land is a 1992 in the state of Brandenburg formed office in which the original 21 communities in the former circles Bad Freiwalde, Seelow and Strausberg (now County Mark- Or Land, Brandenburg ) were combined into an administrative group. Due to reclassifications, incorporations and municipal mergers, the number of official member municipalities has today reduced to six.

Geographical location

The Office Barnim - Oder is a semicircle around the city Wriezen around the west of the present county Maerkisch -or country. It is bordered on the west by the rural district of Barnim, in the north of the city Wriezen and the Office Falkenberg - height, in the east on the community Letschin as well as to the city Neuhardenberg and on the south by the Office märkische Switzerland.

Outline of the Office

The Office Barnim - Oder is currently divided into the following municipalities and districts

  • Bliesdorf with Bliesdorf, Kunersdorf and Metz village
  • Neulewin with Neulewin, Neulietzegöricke and Güstebieser Loose
  • Neutrebbin with Altbarnim, Alttrebbin and Neutrebbin
  • Oderaue with Altreetz, Mädewitz, Neuküstrinchen, Neureetz, Neurüdnitz, Wustrow ( Altwustrow and Neuwustrow ) and Zäckericker Loose
  • Prötzel with Harnekop, Prädikow, Prötzel and stars Beck
  • Reichenow- Möglin with Möglin and Reichenow

History

The Office Wriezen country was formed with effect from June 19, 1992. Seat of the official administration was in town Wriezen. The office consisted of the following municipalities in the former circles Bad Freiwalde, Seelow and Strausberg

The Office was renamed on 1 October 1994 in the Official Barnim - Oder. On 1 January 1995 the municipalities Neutrebbin and Wuschewier merged to form the new municipality Neutrebbin. As of 31 December 1997, Luedersdorf / Biesdorf closed (Official Wriezen ) with the communities Costanosellari and Frankenfelde (Official Barnim Oder ) to the new community Wriezener height together. Also on 31 December 1997 merged star Beck / Harnekop and Prötzel the new community Prötzel. The communities Altreetz, Mädewitz and Wustrow formed December 31, 1997, the new church Altreetz. The communities Reichenow and Möglin also formed December 31, 1997, the new church Reichenow- Möglin. The communities Bliesdorf and Kunersdorf -Metz village also merged this date for new community Bliesdorf - Kunersdorf -Metz village. The name was changed on 1 May 1998 in Bliesdorf.

In addition, the communities formed Altbarnim (Official Letschin ) and Neutrebbin and Alttrebbin (Official Barnim Oder ) on 31 December 1997, the new church Neutrebbin. The new municipality was assigned to the Office Barnim - Oder. In the course of municipal reform in 2003, Brandenburg Neulewin and Neulietzegöricke closed October 26, 2003 consist of the new community Neulewin. The communities Neurüdnitz, Neuküstrinchen Neureetz and formed the new congregation Oderaue. The community Güstebieser Loose was incorporated at the same time in the new church Neulewin.

On 26 October 2003, the municipality Wriezener height was incorporated into the city Wriezen and retired from office. Also on 26 October, the communities Zäckericker Loose and Altreetz were incorporated into the new municipality Oderaue.
